Environment

General

Our technical environment includes multiple hardware and database platforms. Student systems are on the IBM mainframe using DB2, and Oracle in the UNIX environment.

For the past several years, we have been developing (e-designs) Web versions of some of our systems, providing easier access to student records and services for students and staff.

The major programming languages we use are: Java, IDMS/ADSO, C, C++, PL/SQL, COBOL, TSO, JCL, and Easytrieve. See Software Systems link below for a complete listing.
