Student IT Connection
Welcome
Student Information Systems (SIS), an Information Systems & Technology department, provides information systems for student services at the University of California, Berkeley.
We specialize in developing customized (e-Design) applications, systems, and reports servicing students and student service providers. Our goal is to provide systems utilizing new technology and solutions such as Java, J2EE, and Oracle, with the most up-to-date and accurate student data.
Our mission is to develop, maintain, and operate central student systems. We deliver the data and records to campus departments who provide student services, such as admissions, financial aid, registration, transcripts, scheduling, enrollments, and courses.
Students have direct access to enrollment, registration, financial aid, and their student records through our systems, Tele-BEARS, Info-BEARS, and Bear Facts. We also offer consultation to departments in how they can obtain student information to serve Berkeley students.
