Enrollment Systems
ACE, ENR, OLADS, Tele-BEARS, Info-BEARS
Enroll students into classes; create and process wait lists; produce class lists, student study lists, and class demand analysis reports; schedule student calling times; and perform many related tasks.
- ACE is a batch enrollment system that supplements the online systems. It includes batch COBOL, PL/1, and EASYTRIEVE programs.
- ENR is an online system used by the Registrar's Office to process enrollment transactions. The system has online IDMS/ADSO programs.
- OLADS is an online system that enables departments to add or drop students from a course, reserve seats, and make other adjustments pertaining to student enrollment. Departmental staff begin to make add/drop class adjustments right after the Tele-BEARS adjustment period (third week of classes). OLADS and Tele-BEARS are systems working together for enrollment processing. The system has online IDMS/ADSO programs.
- Tele-BEARS and Info-BEARS are the interactive web based systems used by students to enroll in classes. The systems include online IDMS/ADSO programs and IVR online COBOL programs. Info-BEARS was developed to compliment Tele-BEARS by dispensing student enrollment, grades, and financial aid information via telephone. Summer Session also utilizes Tele-BEARS.
