Student ID Assignment Systems

Assigns a unique student identification number (SID) to new undergraduate, graduate, and professional school applicants when they are first processed for admissions. The system also helps locate and maintain previously assigned SID numbers, so that a SID number, once assigned to a person, would remain unique throughout the course of his/her student career at UC Berkeley. This system interfaces with REG, SSAR, UGA, URIS, Graduate, and Law School Admissions systems.
