Terms in Attendance is viewable on a Student's profile, the Advisor Student Overview page, and on an Instructor's Class Enrollment page.  Students, Advisors and Instructors viewing a student's Terms in Attendance in CalCentral may see an inaccurate value.  For example, the value displayed may only reflect the number of terms attended through Fall 2016.

This is only a display issue. The value in SIS Campus Solutions, the System of Record (SOR) is correct. Enrollment prioritization and eligibility is based on the Campus Solutions value.

Issue: Transfer Credit Articulation Prior to Fall 2015

Original Post Date:

May 30, 2017

Description:

Transfer course work completed prior to Fall 2015 will not be articulated according to rules in Assist.org. Courses completed prior to Fall 2015 will be articulated to a generic lower division or upper division course. No course to requirement or course to course articulation will be completed for these courses. This will cause the Academic Progress Report (APR) to not automatically pick up these courses as fulfilling requirements.

People impacted:

Advisors

Systems impacted:

Academic Progress Report (APR)

Status:

ASSIST articulation agreements prior to fall 2015 will not be built as articulation rules in Campus Solutions.

What to do:

Advisors who are reviewing a student’s APR and find that there are requirements not being met that should be met using transfer course work completed prior to Fall 2015 will need to process an exception. You can find training guides for APR Exceptions at sis.berkeley.edu/training

Advisor are only able to make exceptions for areas in which they are approved. For example, only College Advisors are able to make exceptions to College requirements.

For exceptions related to University/Campus requirements (Entry Level Writing, American History, American Institutions and American Cultures) please email sishelp@berkeley.edu

This is a Known Issue.  There is no need to log a ticket unless instructed to do so above.  If you experience another technical issue, please submit a ticket to the SIS Production Support team by email at sishelp@berkeley.edu

Description:
If you were a former student at UC Berkeley between 1995 and 2016 you will be able to view the Degree Progress Card and Committee Card under my "My Academics" in CalCentral.
