December 2018 Release

The SIS December 2018 Release is now available.

Here are some key highlights of new SIS Campus Solutions and CalCentral functionality:

Students

Graduation Checklist

Students will now see a link to a graduation checklist in CalCentral once they are term-activated for their expected graduation term. The checklist will outline tasks the student should take in preparation for graduation.

Exam Results

Students can now access their exam scores directly from the Academic Records card on the My Academics tab in CalCentral. The Exam Results page will display credit bearing and non-credit bearing exam scores submitted during the admission process—such as AP, A-Level, and ACT—or taken on the UC Berkeley campus for Entry-Level Writing, Quantitative Reasoning, or Language Proficiency.

Instructors

Preferred Name on Search/Enrollment Displays

Instructors’ preferred names will now be displayed on all student-facing pages in CalCentral, such as Class Search, Enrollment, and Scheduler Planner. If no preferred name exists in the system, the primary name will be displayed.

Updated format for class enrollment rosters

Instructors can now download class enrollment rosters for an entire class or individual sections. Improvements have also been made to the format on class roster CSV download. For more information, view the SIS Job Aid on Exporting Class Rosters.

Advisors
